Africa Constitution
PREAMBLE
We, the members of UNITY WORLDWIDE MINISTRIES AFRICA REGION, a non-profit, non-political, religious organisation, dedicated to expansion of consciousness and life transforming development of Unity Ministries in the Continent of Africa, do firmly and solemnly resolve to provide for ourselves a constitution which we have agreed upon, to be governed by its provisions as herein contained.
ARTICLE 1: IDENTIFICATION
1.1 Name The name of the Association is: UNITY WORLDWIDE MINISTRIES AFRICA REGION, hereafter referred to as UWM-AR.
1.2 Geographical Territory and Conference Region
1.2.1 Territory. The geographical territory of the UWM Africa Region shall consist of all the countries of the African Continent.
1.2.2 Conference Regions: The UWM–AR Board of Trustees shall establish such conference regions within Africa as it shall deem appropriate.
1.2.3 International Unity: UWM-AR shall hold status as a region and voting member in Unity Worldwide Ministries (UWM) with the rights and duties this implies.
1.3. Legal Personality
The association shall
1.3 .1 Exist in its own right, separately from its members
1.3. 2 Continue to exist even when its members change and there are different office bearers
1.3 .3 Be able to own property and other possessions
